According to the announcement news on the official website of EMVCo organization on January 27, 2016, the dual-interface bank card IC CIU9872B, developed independently by CEC Huada Electronic Design Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "HED") , successfully passed the international EMVCo chip safety certification and obtained its authentication certificate (Certificate Number: ICCN0219). You can see from the official website that HED’s Chip CIU9872B is the only domestic dual-interface card chip with valid EMVCo certification at present stage. This marks that both security design quality and security management system of HED bank card chips have reached the requirements of international security level.


It is not for the first time that HED cooperates with Dutch Brightsight Laboratory - one of world-leading third-party security testing institutions, and both parties highly recognize each other’s serious professional attitude and persistent spirit of pursuit for security products. Brightsight is the world’s largest independent security assessment laboratory, and with more than 30 years of experience in security assessment, the institution can test and assess the security of various products such as chip, TEE, HCE and SE, which is the only laboratory in the world obtaining the approvals of certifying authorities, such as Common Criteria (CC), EMVCo and Specific Payment Brand, in five countries. From international CC EAL4 +, EMVCo to future international EAL5 + certification, the process of in-depth cooperation between HED and Brightsight embodies its full self-confidence to the security and reliability of own products.


he CIU9872B is a new generation of high-security, high-performance and high-capacity dual-interface smart card chip, designed by HED independently. Based on a 32-bit CPU design, this product provides a user card space up to 80 k bytes, supports ISO/IEC 14443 and ISO/IEC 7816 communication protocols as well as the national SM1 / SM2 / SM3 / SM4 / SSF33 commercial algorithms, and meets the requirements from various application fields such as finance, social security, transport, healthcare and education. Only products after the market test are the most persuasive. At present, this product has been widely used in the field of payment, whose successful stories appear not only in the Bank of China, the Construction Bank of China, the Agricultural Bank of China and other large state-owned banks but also in Qinghai RCCs, Bank of Ningbo, LYCB, Commercial Bank of Inner Mongolia, Bank of Leshan, Bank of Yangquan, ZBCB and other commercial Banks, with large-scale shipments.
