The products adopted HED high security chip formally passed the China UnionPay SWP-SD mobile payment card certification on December 30th, 2011. HED became the first domestic chip manufacturer who had passed such certification.
In 2011, UnionPay brought out its leading mobile payment solution NFC-SD which won active responses from card manufacturers. As of January 1st, 2012, four card manufacturers had passed BCTC test and obtained the UnionPay SWP-SD mobile payment card certification. HED was under the spotlight as the first chip manufacturer who had passed the certification. The chip products that had passed this certification were mainly facing the mobile payment market. They adopted 32-bit processor and supported various algorithms and expansion interfaces such as SPI, GPIO and SWP. They can be used in mobile payments solutions such as NFC-SD, NFC-SIM, NFC all-terminal and RF-SIM.
