CEC Huada Electronic Design Co., Ltd. ("HED") has released the first HF RFID chip, which supports the national commercial cryptographic algorithm and conforms to ISO/IEC 15693 standard, to the public recently. This product won the "2014 Blue Shield Security Anti-counterfeiting Technology Innovation Award" as soon as it was launched. The innovativeness of the product has won unanimous appreciation of the industrial experts.
HED is one of the chip companies entering the RFID field firstly in China. Through several years’ research and exploration, the company has a deep understanding of RFID application and introduced a series of RFID chips covering HF, UHF and microwave frequency bands, which can be used in various fields, such as electronic ticket, anti-counterfeiting trace and asset management. Among which, the anti-counterfeiting trace is an application demand featuring strong Chinese characteristics. HED considers that uniqueness, anti-cloning, easy authentication and stability are the key points required to be focused in anti-counterfeiting applications. The newly introduced HF RFID chip product not only has an anti-collision mechanism, multi-label identification and reading supported, but also features a safety authentication and identification capability for a single label, and supports NFC Smartphone identification and anti-counterfeiting authentication, which can solve the problems of easy cloning of QR code and high cost of UHF RFID authentication. The anti-counterfeiting solution based on this chip has adopted NFC Smartphone for the authentication, which has avoided that numerous authentication terminals are required in the authentication sections of other technologies, to help the users cut the project cost dramatically. Meanwhile, RFID technology has technical advantages such as long-distance identification, large storage capability, unique code mark for label, anti-cloning and strong environmental adaptability. It has a great application prospect to combine the NCF smart phone and RFID technology & safety technology, which can be used in the anti-counterfeiting field, so that the anti-counterfeiting be changed from small-scale anti-counterfeiting to large-scale anti-counterfeiting.
Mr. Ma Jifeng, RFID product director of HED, introduced the newly launched HF RFID chip to the audience on the Ninth Certificate, Card, Ticket and Voucher Safety Technology Forum.
